We're excited to announce that Disney Pixar's Coco Live-to-Film Concert on Tour will come to the historic Proctors Theatre in Schenectady, New York on Thursday, October 29th, 2026! The entire film will be played on the big screen while a 20-piece Latin ensemble performs the Oscar and Grammy-award winning score LIVE. This concert event is licensed by Disney Concerts and is a unique and fun film experience for the whole family can enjoy and celebrate Mexican culture and tradition. All the colorful and lively characters from the film will come to life on the big screen as the music swells to new heights to match the emotional moments in young Miguel's journey to become the musician he was meant to be. Showtime is at 7:30 PM for this unique blend of film and live orchestral music which will be a fun and unforgettable evening of cinematic storytelling and live art.

Orquesta Folclórica Nacional de México

The live show will feature the full film - from start to finish, projected on the big screen while a 20-piece all Latin band performs the Oscar- and Grammy-nominated score by Michael Giacchino for the hit Disney/Pixar film. The talented 20-member orchestra is the renowned Ballet Folclórico Nacional de México's Orquesta Folclórica Nacional de México. Their vast knowledge of the many musical styles of Mexico, as well as a strong focus on the pre-Hispanic and colonial eras, will create a wonderful and powerful live sound for this very special show. Under the leadership of conductor Esin Aydingoz, a rising star of the live-to-picture world, the musicians of the Orquesta Folclórica Nacional de México bring the work of Giacchino to life with accuracy and feeling. Combining tradition with the many influences that touched Mexican music over the centuries, the result is a perfect fit for this iconic Disney Pixar animated film.

Proctors Theatre is a historic theater at 432 State Street in Schenectady, NY. The venue holds 2,646 seats, arranged across multiple levels including the Orchestra (approx. 1,481 seats on the lower level), Loge (248 seats on the 2nd level), Dress Circle and Balcony (seats on the 3rd level), and Boxes (20 seats on the orchestra level). All sections of the venue feature Accessible Seating with Movable Armrests, and include Companion Seats. There's also available concession stands onsite for your quick snack fixes.
